OVER THE YEARS, LOOP MISSION HAS BECOME THE EMERGENCY CALL CENTER FOR MEMBERS OF THE FOOD INDUSTRY STUCK WITH SURPLUSES THAT, WITHOUT OUR HELP, WOULD END UP IN A LANDFILL.
That’s why we’ve created LOOP SYNERGIES, a new rescue program aiming to save more than 20 000 tons annually and thus eliminate food waste through fruitful partnerships.
The goal of this ambitious new branch is clear: enable every food manufacturing business to source raw materials through a circular economy, and therefore provide a positive impact.
To achieve this, LOOP Mission is providing a second life to rejected food by transforming it into stable and usable ingredients in various forms (purees, vegetable powder and dehydrated fruits, bulk juice, etc.).
This initiative stemmed from the realization that we can’t stop food waste on our own. To get there, we need to start a movement in the industry and facilitate access to the tons of rejected food that usually transit through our call center.
