Here, we have all our awards, distinctions, and mentions that allow us to accelerate even more the reduction of food waste.


Globally, food waste accounts for 8% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions, largely from edible food decomposing in landfills. In Canada, more than half of our food supply is wasted every year - that’s over 50 billion dollars in avoidable food waste.

It is this premise that led to the creation of the very first Food Waste Challenge. We then decided to take a chance and participate in this 3-year challenge by registering our new branch, LOOP Synergies, to further accelerate our mission of reducing food waste.

An initiative focused on transforming rejected fruits and vegetables into ingredients for companies in the food industry. This project aims to exponentially reduce food waste by facilitating and promoting the supply of revalued foods. This initiative will help overcome existing barriers to the reuse of these foods and democratize their use in consumer products. Over the past year, the project has saved 3,500 tons of fruits and vegetables, and we aim to double this quantity next year.
